Big Daddy Kane, Raw, 1988

This is one of my favorite Kane tracks. From the Colors movie soundtrack, this is old school hip-hop braggadocio at its visceral best. "Fisher price emcees" were definitely put on notice, but Kane's grammatical slip-up makes me cringe because it's not like he had to say "contraceptic" to make it rhyme. Approximate rhyme is an integral part of poetic license - a tactic emcees today are certainly not afraid to employ.
